Chloe LOVES LOVES LOVES Dora the Explorer… So, naturally, this year her Christmas had a Dora theme – even down to the wrapping paper on some of her gifts. For Christmas, Chloe received the following Dora gifts: pajamas, shoes, “Backpack,” backpack, DVDs, Fiesta doll, Mermaid doll, bath toys, magical towelette, jump rope and room stickers.




As an interesting Christmas / Dora side note: in addition to all the Spanish she’s learning from watching Dora – her aunt Mandi, uncle Tyson and Bonka (my Dad) shared several simple Spanish terms to expand her bilingual vocabulary. It’s very cute to hear my two year old say: “in Spanish, we say <
> My plea is this: if teach my daughter anything in Spanish – PLEASE! Teach ME the English equivalent. It will save me the $$$ I’ll otherwise have to spend to invest in an English / Spanish dictionary.
I KNEW the 4+ years I spent learning French would be a waste! DOH!
